Notifications
Notifications play a crucial role in keeping field workers informed and ensuring they stay up-to-date with important updates related to their tasks, initiatives, and the app itself. These notifications help them stay on track and perform their duties efficiently, ensuring smooth operations in the field.
Types of Notifications in the App:
Under the Notifications tab, there are two sections where notifications can be viewed:
Reminder Notifications: This section displays all the reminders that have been created. These notifications are intended to prompt field workers to follow up on specific tasks or commitments related to individual respondents. Click Here for more details.
General Notifications: This section contains general updates and alerts. The following types of notifications will appear here:
Changes in Initiative Details or New Initiatives:
Field workers will receive notifications whenever there is a change in the details of an existing initiative or when a new initiative is published by the organization.
This ensures that field workers have the latest information on available initiatives to share with respondents.
Reminders to Sync Data:
The app will send notifications to remind field workers to sync their data if it hasn't been synced in a while. This is particularly important for ensuring that all collected data is safely uploaded to the server and up-to-date.
These reminders help field workers stay on top of their data management, especially when operating in offline mode.
Reminders to Complete Benefit Deliveries:
Notifications will alert field workers if an application has been submitted but the benefit (e.g., cash payout, scholarship) has not yet been delivered to the respondent.
This ensures timely follow-ups and helps ensure that the entire process is completed, improving service delivery.
Assignment of Respondents:
Whenever new respondents are assigned to the field worker by their leads, the app will notify the field worker, making it easy to track their workload and prioritize tasks accordingly.
App Updates:
If a new version of the app is available, field workers will receive a notification prompting them to update the app.
This ensures they are always using the latest features and improvements for enhanced performance and security.
Where to View Notifications:
Field workers can view notifications from the Notification Center within the app. Here's how they can access it:
Notification Icon:
A notification icon will be visible on the top of the app’s dashboard (typically in the header section).
This icon will display the number of unread notifications.
Notification List:
Tapping the notification icon will open a list of all active and unread notifications.
Each notification will be listed with a brief description of the message, such as "New initiative published" or "Sync your data."
Notification Details:
Field workers can tap on a notification to view detailed information or take action (e.g., syncing data, completing a benefit delivery)
