Syncing and Restoring Data

The Resilience Connect app is designed to work seamlessly in offline mode, enabling field workers to collect respondent information without requiring an internet connection.

The app automatically syncs data to the server every 15-30 minutes whenever a stable internet connection is available. However Field workers can also trigger a manual sync using the Sync button on the dashboard.

Restoring Data from the server

Field workers can also restore data back to their app from the server using the restore operation.

Cases where restore can be used

• Field workers have uninstalled their app, once uninstalled data gets cleared from the app.

• Cleared Data from app settings.

• Their field coordinators have assigned them respondents from the web app.

Restoring data does not automatically retrieve files uploaded to the server back to your device. However, you can manually download these files individually once you have an active internet connection, after which they will be available on your device.

Both these operations require a stable internet connect.
