How to add a respondent

The first and most essential step in data collection for field workers is registering a new respondent. This process is streamlined in the Resilience Connect app, ensuring ease of use and accuracy in data collection.

Steps to Add a New Respondent:

  1. Access the Dashboard:

    • Open the app and navigate to the Dashboard. This serves as the central hub for all operations.

  2. Initiate the Registration:

    • Tap the "+" (Add Respondent) button prominently displayed on the dashboard.

    • This action begins the process of registering a new respondent, allowing the field worker to start the survey seamlessly.

    • Field worker will see a popup to turn on locations if they are off, give permission to turn this on.

  1. View Configured Survey Questions:

    • After tapping the "+" button, the app will display a pre-configured set of survey questions.

    • These questions are designed and managed by the organization to ensure all necessary data is collected.

  2. Input Respondent Details:

    • Field workers can now enter the respondent's details, including personal information, family details, and other relevant data.

    • The app supports multiple question types such as text, numbers, dates, single choice, and multiple-choice answers, making it flexible for various data needs.

  3. Complete the Survey:

    • As the field worker progresses through the survey, they can review the information entered to ensure accuracy.

  4. Submit the Registration:

    • Once all required information has been entered, submit the survey to complete the respondent's registration.

    • The data is securely saved and will sync with the server when the device is connected to the internet.
